Lifesure Limited was formed in 1971, originally intending to be a provider of Life and Investment policies, as the name suggests. In the early years it became apparent that there was a large demand for personal lines (private motor car, household etc) insurance and gradually the Company moved from being primarily a supplier of Life Policies into a leading personal lines insurance provider. Today we no longer transact life assurance.

In a market that was becoming for ever more competitive Lifesure became specialists in many ‘niche’ markets. A number of sports car clubs initially recommended us as we were able to negotiate a number of schemes with leading insurers. Over the years we have continued to provide competitive insurance for many clients who have a particular type of vehicle. Our most recent scheme and one of our most successful has been to offer insurance for vehicles imported from Japan, at a time when many insurers have declined these.

One of the principles upon which the Company has been built has been to offer a consistently high level of customer care and, whilst the company has continued to expand, we have endeavoured to ensure that there remains an ‘old fashion’ approach to our customers. When ever you ring us you will find that you speak to someone who is both knowledgeable and concerned. We firmly believe our future lays in the care of our customers, both old and new.

Finding their origin in our niche marketing is M.C.I.A Limited (Motor Caravan Insurance Agency Limited), which grew from a successful scheme for Motor Caravans. In fact, so successful was the scheme that a separate company was formed in 1986 and this has now become one of the leading insurers of Motor Caravans in the UK.

In addition MCIA Ltd., has successfully ventured into other products which include Caravan Insurance, Annual Travel Insurance and Parkhome Insurance.

The Staff.

Unlike many of our competitors we have a very low staff turn over, most of our staff having been with us well in excess of 10 years. This means our customers will receive the benefit of many years of experience when they call. We do not employ people purely to deal with clients based on the response of a computer like some companies. When you contact us you can be assured that we will know what you are talking about and be able to give advice and guidance that is appropriate to you.

Predictions for our future.

Based on current success and anticipated growth we would hope to achieve a turnover approaching £18,000,000 by the end of 2008. We are always looking to move forward and to this end we will continually develop our website and internet presence.

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Without such authorisation no one in the insurance industry can any longer trade.
