Do I require Contractors Public Liability Insurance?

As a contract, whatever your trade, there is always the possibility of an accident occurring. No doubt you take all the care you can to avoid this, but sometimes the unforeseen can happen. Should you be held responsible and legally liable for an accident you can be faced with the costs of someone’s personal injuries or property damage that may have occurred. We are all too aware of how large some of these claims can be.

We are able to provide immediate contractors insurance quotes and cover for £1 million, £2 million, or £5 million of Public Liability Insurance. Even though these amounts may seem excessively high the cost of buying the cover may be surprisingly low. If you use our online quotes facility you can have a contractors insurance quotation in a matter of minutes.

Why do I need Contractors Employers Liability Insurance?

Should you have a person/people working for you, you are legally required to have Employers Liability Insurance. Failure to do so can lead to a large fine. You may be surprised who would be considered to be an employee. To find the definition of an employee please click here.

Should an employee be injured or suffer illness as result of an activity in the course of their employment you may be held legally liable and become the subject of a personal injury claim.

Our Employers Liability Insurance provides an indemnity limit of £10 million which will hopefully be sufficient to cover you against all eventualities.
