Hospitality Insurance – Our standard package policy includes;

  • Contents Cover (Buildings Cover being an optional extra).
  • Your Restaurant / Public House / Bar / Cafe contents will be insured against a range of standard insurance risks and you can include accidental damage as an optional addition.
  • Public Liability will insure you for a third party being injured or their property be damaged, during the conduct of your business for which you are legally liable. Cover can be acquired with limits of £1,000,000, £2,000,000 or £5,000,000.
  • Employers Liability protects your business, should an employee be injured during their employment with your company, when you or your company are deemed to be responsible. This policy provides up to £10,000,000 of cover. Please check the definition of an employee on this link.

Business Interruption

This cover can help offset your losses when your hospitality business loses income as result of an incident, which the hospitality insurance policy covers, i.e. fire or theft. This would help you get back to full trading or cover you for the indemnity period you have chosen – whichever comes first.

Business Money.

This can cover you for the money both in and out of business hours (security requirements may apply). You will additionally be covered whilst money is in transit, in a bank night safe or in the home (up to £500).

Personal Accident (Assault).

Should you or one of the employees of your hospitality business be the victims of assault whilst responsible for business money,  this hospitality insurance section will provide you with cover.

Glass Breakage.

Equipment Breakdown; Includes damage to perishable goods caused by failure of the insured equipment.
