Marine Insurance

Marine Insurance

Boat insurance is not a legal requirement in the UK but if you are investing money in a boat it is foolhardy not to protect it. Most marinas, harbours and mooring areas require evidence of third party cover as a minimum in case your boat causes damage to another boat or property. You also need proof of third party marine cover to obtain an inland waterways license. Lakes and reservoirs tend to require the same.
