Office Insurance Overview

The Office Insurance offered by Lifesure has been designed to meet the demands and needs of office based businesses, insuring against a number of risks that may be encountered from day to day.

The basic Office Insurance Cover includes:

In addition there is an option to include buildings cover, accounts receivable cover and all risk cover on specified equipment to your office insurance policy.

Office Insurance cover:

Contents (Buildings can be added as an option)

Your office contents will be insured against loss or damage caused by a range of standard insurance perils and against accidental damage.

In addition you can opt to add cover for your buildings, again the cover will include accidental damage cover.

Public Liability

Public Liability will indemnify you in the event of injury to a third party or damage to their property that may occur during the conduct of your business and for which you are legally liable. Cover is available with optional limits of one, two or five millions pounds.

Employers Liability

Employers Liability is legally required to protect you in the event of an employee being injured during the course of their employment should claim be made against you. The policy will automatically provide £10,000,000 worth of cover. The legal definition of an ‘Employee’ can be found by clicking here. The definition is much wider than many business owners realise so please check.

Business Interruption

Should your business incur loss of income as result of an incident for which your policy covers you (i.e. fire or theft), this may help offset your loss and help you get back to full trading or cover you for the indemnity period you have chosen, whichever comes first.

Money Cover

This will cover you for your money both in and out of business hours (security requirements may apply). You will also be covered whilst in transit, when in a bank night safe and whilst at home (up to £500).

Personal Accident (Assault)

Should you or one of your employees be the unfortunate victim of an assault whilst responsible for business money this section will provide you with cover.
