Restaurant Insurance – our standard package policy includes:

  • Contents Cover (Stock, Equipment and Fixtures).
  • Your Restaurant contents will be insured against a range of standard insurance perils and you can also include accidental damage as an optional addition.
  • Public Liability will insure you should a third party be injured or their property be damaged during the conduct of your business and for which you are legally liable. Cover is available with optional limits of £1M, £2M, or £5M.
  • Employers Liability protects should an employee be injured whilst in the course of their employment and you or your business be deemed responsible. £10 million of cover  is included in the policy. Please check the definition of an employee by clicking here.

Business Interruption

This may help offset your losses should your Restaurant lose income as result of an incident which your restaurant insurance policy covers you for, i.e. fire or theft, and help you get back to full trading or cover you for the indemnity period you have chosen, whichever comes first.

Business Money.

This will cover you for your money both in and out of business hours (security requirements may apply) you will also be covered whilst in transit, when in a bank night safe and whilst at home (up to £500).

Personal Accident (Assault).

If you or one of the employees of your Restaurant are the victims of an assault whilst in charge of business money this restaurant insurance section provides you with cover.
