Touring Caravan Insurance Policy Benefits and Exclusions:

• New for Old replacement available for Touring Caravans up to 5 years old (subject to the sums insured representing the full new replacement cost of the touring caravan).
• Continental cover up to 180 Days.
• Loss or damage caused by accidental damage, fire, theft, vandalism, storm & flood to the caravan as standard.
• Personal effects clothing, luggage and general household goods, including portable televisions and microwaves. Maximum limit £300 single article limit..
• Costs incurred for the protection and removal of the touring caravan to the closest repairer. Your caravan will also be delivered back to you after it has been repaired.
• Loss of use of the caravan £50.00 per day up to a maximum of £1500.00
• Use by Family & Friends is included as long as no hire charges are made.
• Repatriation of the touring caravan from EU countries.
• 24/7 Claims service and Legal Defence Helpline.
• Public Liability cover up to £2,000,000 in respect of injury to third parties.
• Caravanplus Legal Protection provides a hire caravan and/or car in the event of a non fault accident. You will also be provided with a hire car even if it is not insured with us. (Caravanplus hire is only available in England, Scotland and Wales and excludes Northern Ireland).
• You can still use the hire cover if the accident is your fault but it is only available for a maximum of 14 days.
• Uninsured loss recovery service providing assistance up to £50,000.
• Free legal advice is available on any matter, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

Please note

• The caravan must not be more than 17 years old.
• The policyholder must be a minimum of 30 years of age.
• The caravan must be used for social,domestic & pleasure purposes only.
• The caravan must be fitted with a hitchlock & wheelclamp when left unattended for 2 hours or more.

• Make and model of your touring caravan plus the year of manufacturer.
• The address of the touring caravan’s storage location together with the postcode.
• The market value or the new for old value depending on the chosen cover, of the touring caravan plus the equipment- (e.g. awnings, generators, stabilisers and the like used in conjunction with the touring caravan).
• The value of any contents and personal effects including clothing and household goods.
• If you have had any claims within the last 3 years (irrelevant of blame) full details will be required.
