The Lifesure Awards 2017

Following on from the success of our first Lifesure Awards in 2016, on Saturday 18th November 2017 we hosted our second annual company awards ceremony at The Cambridge Belfry Hotel. Celebrating Lifesure’s successes and achievements over the past year, the night saw us celebrate in truly magical fashion, with bow ties and sparkles a plenty! We even had a magician and fortune teller on hand to entertain guests throughout the evening!

With the champagne flowing, followed by a wonderful three course dinner and some questionable dancing, we reflected on Lifesure’s achievements and recognised those employees who have gone above and beyond to contribute to our success during 2017. We had 9 award winners in total, each award reflecting one of our brand values (Integrity, Commitment, Family, Delight and Caring) and awards for Rising Star, Shining Star, Team Achievement and Employee of the Year.

Among all the glitz and glamour of the night, we also had an important goal in mind. Lifesure’s chosen charity for the year is Macmillan Cancer Support. We held a fundraiser raffle with prizes generously donated by Lifesure, employees, partners and local businesses. We are delighted to announce that during the awards we raised a fantastic £740, bringing our total raised this quarter to just over £2,000! We hope to further add to that total before the end of the year.

Overall, it was a fantastic evening with much to celebrate, you can see a list of our award winners and finalists below, along with photos from the night.

In addition, we offer thanks to our fundraiser prize donors, who enabled us to support the important work of Macmillan, Roger Taylor, our photographer for the night, and Bluebird Parties who helped with the set up of the event.

Finally, the night would not have been possible without the hard work of our awards team. Thank you to Jane, Lulu, Helen and Sarah for all your hard work before and during the event.
