When arranging insurance for buildings and contents cover, the park home policy is on a new for old replacement basis. Therefore the sum insured should include the park home manufacturers ex-works price for an equivalent home, allowances for home improvements and the cost of delivery.

Lifesure customers who are NAPHR or IPHAS members do not pay an excess on their insurance in the event of a claim. This applies to all claims excluding escape of water or oil and subsidence.
The standard policy excess under the scheme is £50, unless the claim is for subsidence, heave and landslip where excess is £500, or escape of water or oil where the excess is £75.
Please note that this is only a brief explanation for each of the covers available. Please read the policy booklet for full details in respect of each form of cover and the excess that may apply.
All covers are subject to exclusions. It is necessary for you to read the policy document to be aware of the exclusions imposed by the particular insurer. We always advise you to read fully the insurance policy so you may understand what you are, and are not, covered for.
All insurance policies advertised on this website are applicable only to residents of the United Kingdom and The Isle of Man.
