About the policy

We understand it can be difficult to insure your car when you have previous offences on your license. Specialist car insurance when you have motoring convictions can be expensive, if you’re able to find it at all. It’s why we work with well-known insurers, including AXA, to offer policies that provide cover to suit your needs but still at a competitive price.

UK motorists are required by law to have valid car insurance and third-party cover is the minimum. However, we don’t think you should just have a basic level of cover in your policy. That’s why our convicted driver policies provide fully comprehensive cover. It means you can get back on the road with the peace of mind that injury to others, theft and vandalism, as well as damage to your vehicle for bumps and scrapes are covered.

What does our convicted driver insurance cover?

You may have a drink driving or driving without insurance conviction but when you’re ready to get back on the road, you can trust us to support you. Our specialist team will listen, understand and advise. We’ll provide you with a tailored insurance quote to match your individual needs. We certainly won’t judge you.

Everyone deserves a second chance and our policies provide all the cover you’re used to. For your specific circumstances, we can consider your no claims discount if your ban has been for 3 years. Typically, policies only accept proof in the last 2 years. And if your car is in a compound, our insurance can cover you to retrieve your car without the need for a separate policy. Our policies won’t just insure you, they’re time saving and hassle-free.

When choosing a policy, it’s important to know what’s included and excluded. Our summary below provides information about our most popular product. No policy protects you against every scenario and it’s best to read our policy documents to understand the conditions and exclusions that apply.
