Today we can announce that Lifesure Group Limited (Lifesure) has been acquired by Gallagher.
Gallagher are one of the largest and most recognisable insurance brokers in the world; offering client service capabilities in more than 130 countries through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants. Just like Lifesure, they are a family business and share similar values to those that form the fabric of the culture at Lifesure.
Lifesure, established in 1971, provides insurance broking services in the holiday and leisure industry. Products include park home, motorhome, holiday caravan, leisure home, car and home insurance. The business employs a team of 50 and is led by Managing Director, Paul Reid. Gallagher already has a significant customer base in the leisure industry and Lifesure and the team will further strengthen its offering in this specialist market.
As part of the transaction, Gallagher will also acquire Lifesure’s sister company Barnes Commercial who offer commercial insurance solutions to small-to-medium businesses, becoming part of Gallagher’s UK & Ireland Retail division.
