As well as a top-notch team of advisors at the end of the phone, we also offer MyLifesure, an online customer portal that displays your policy details and documents, with the option to send us a secure message. It’s a simple tool that makes a huge difference to our customers.

What does Lifesure’s car breakdown cover include?

What's included

  • Home start, roadside assistance and recovery are provided as standard
  • No upper age limit for your vehicle
  • Misfuelling cover up to £250
  • Alternative travel/onwards transportation to your destination
  • Up to 6 callouts per year
  • Option to include European travel
  • Recovery operators will spend up to an hour on roadside repairs

What's not included

  • Breakdowns within 24 hours of the policy starting (or before the service commenced)
  • Accumulative claims that exceed £15,000 in any period of insurance
  • Repeat callouts within 28 days of the original fault if repairs weren’t completed at a suitable garage
  • Overnight accommodation or car hire charges if repairs can be carried out at or near the scene of the breakdown within the same working day
  • If you break down in Europe and you haven’t selected European cover
  • Assistance following fire, theft or vandalism

Your payment options

Paying for your cover should be straightforward, not a headache. We have just four payment options, so you can choose your preference: instalments, debit card, credit card or cheque.

One way to make the cost of your insurance more manageable is to spread the cost. We partner with Close Brothers Premium Finance to enable you to pay in regular instalments. If you decide to pay by premium finance, the set-up process couldn't be easier as we arrange all of this while processing your policy.

The credit agreement will be between yourself and Close Brothers Premium Finance and you will make regular instalments by Direct Debit to them to repay the cost of your insurance premium, plus interest and any charges, which we’ll let you know about in advance.

Flexible payment dates, online account management and simple credit agreement renewal make it easy to have the best protection possible.
