What does our motor breakdown insurance cover?

With UK cover starting from £49, our specialist breakdown service covers vehicles of all ages. It’s easy and fast to get a quote online, you’ll only need a few details to hand.

When choosing a policy, it’s important to know what’s included and excluded. No policy protects you against every scenario and it’s best to read the policy documents to understand the conditions and exclusions that apply. Whats covered

  • Home start, roadside assistance and recovery are provided as standard
  • Recovery operators will spend up to an hour on roadside repairs
  • No upper age limit for your vehicle
  • Misfuelling cover up to £250
  • Alternative travel/onwards transportation to your destination
  • Option to include European travel
  • Up to 6 callouts per year

What's not covered

  • Breakdowns within 24 hours of the policy starting (or before the service commenced)
  • Claims with a total cost exceeding £15,000 in any period of insurance
  • Repeat callouts within 28 days of the original fault if repairs weren’t completed at a suitable garage
  • Overnight accommodation or car hire charges if repairs can be carried out at or near the scene of the breakdown within the same working day
  • If you break down in Europe and you haven’t selected European cover
  • Assistance following fire, theft or vandalism
